Kriegsausgabe

KRIEGSAUSGABE is a dystopian epic journey set in Mesopotamia where KRAMNUK, an infamous fighter, tries to escape the violence and misery he’s responsible for.

SYNOPSIS

KRIEGSAUSGABE is set a hundred years after an ultimate world war that abolished all governmental institutions and political borders. The remnants of this war are fighters from mixed nations who engage in a brutal power struggle, creating a world filled with misery. KRAMNUK, one of these fighters who kill, loot, and kidnap children to maintain power, feels a numbness in his chest and seeks escape. During a delivery mission, he attempts to flee on a mountain controlled by women guerrillas. He falls from a cliff and is buried under rocks. ZARATHUSTRA and his followers rescue him. He loses consciousness and surprisingly grows physically, resembling a giant. Following Zarathustra's vague instructions, he gets caught in a tornado that takes him away. Unable to speak any language and resembling a giant child, he meets three kids and helps them escape from fighters like him.

We never cease to do our best to survive, and shaped by the transformative power of life, our will continues to create any meaning that’s available to us. Whenever oppressed, we resist the darkness and evil of mankind, fighting back in our own way. But what happens to the oppressor? The ones that kill, spread violence, and silence other voices for their own interest while deliberately eliminating any possibility of coexistence. What’s the journey that those who represent the immature and uncivilized state of the human mind have to go through? More and more, I’m interested in the steps of confrontation and redemption of the oppressors who create this cruel world with their aimless will to power. Kriegsausgabe follows this journey of an individual human being in dire need of transformation, parallel to the history of civilizations and humanity, told through an epic narrative form that doesn’t refrain from providing the richness and spectacle of mythology.
