Sanja Božić-Ljubičić graduated in English and Spanish at the University of Zagreb. Following her longtime career as a translator, in 2001 she established Mediatranslations, a company specialized in translation and processing of foreign TV programs. In 2010 she established Mediavision – a specialized agency for the TV industry, marketing and public relations. Three years later, the company launched New Europe Market (NEM), which is now the most important content creation and TV industry event in the CEE region, held twice a year – in Dubrovnik and Zagreb. In 2020 she launched NEM Network, an online extension for NEM community with on-demand content and B2B online networking opportunities.
Sanja’s biggest entrepreneurial venture started in April 2014 when she introduced Pickbox NOW, the first SVoD service in our area, which now cooperates with the biggest production companies and can be viewed independently through desktop, mobile, tablet or Smart TV applications or through telecom operators in the territory of Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Macedonia. Not long after, Sanja also launched a TV channel called Pickbox TV airing premiere series and feel good movies – now distributed in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Mag. Christof Papousek CFO Constantin Film group of companies Cineplexx Austria & SEE
Christof Papousek joined the Constantin Film & Cineplexx group of companies in 1999, after working as consultant, and he reconstructed the financial department and company structure. In 2004, he became managing director & CFO and in 2008 he co-founded the group’s international cinema operation – Cineplexx International - as entrepreneur and co-shareholder. Since 2008 the company has developed and acquired 25 cinemas in the SEE region in 11 different countries, including the latest market entrance in Romania. At the same time, premium large format concepts were introduced in the Austrian home market, but also a process of refurbishment and implementation of a new corporate design has been executed. Cineplexx is an important partner of shopping mall operators and a reliable and sustainable part of the entertainment offer in real estate developments. Since 2018 he is also shareholder in the Group-Holding entity Constantin-Film-Holding GmbH. Christof Papousek also fulfils several functions in the Austrian chamber of commerce, representing the film and cinema industry as well as in the European Cinema Association UNIC and in the GCF.
Igor Stanković was born in Skoplje, the Republic of Macedonia, in 1975. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Management department 1999 in Priština and he enrolled in the postgraduate studies the same year.
Igor established MCF MegaCom Film company in 2004, today's leader in the film distribution and organization of the film festival events. MCF became an important and indispensable partner of the film events, such as FEST, Palic Film Festival, and the regional festivals, such as Sarajevo FF, Montenegro FF, Manaki Brothers FF and many others, providing and enabling the display of the most important and award-winning films from year to year.
MCF has established in 2005., the Children's Film Festival KIDS FEST, as a unique film and general-educational event for children of preschool and school age. With a group of founders and admirers of the Auteur Film Festival, he continued the organization of this renowned festival in 2006 as one of the most important film events in Belgrade.
Together with city of Smederevo and Center for Culture as a founder and idea creator established in 2018 the Danube Film Festival Smederevo, unique film festival covering countries of the Danube basin.
He established a partner company in 2010 with an Austrian cinema company, which included the chain of the Cineplexx cinemas, whose partner and director Igor had been until 2013.
Igor became a member of the Serbian Arts Council Film Center as one of the nine representative members of their professions, in addition to directors, screenwriters, producers, and distributors of the Republic of Serbia. As a member of the Arts Council, he is also a member of the allocation of the funds at film competitions being the committee chairman for development projects.
Jovan Marjanović has been involved in the Sarajevo Film Festival since 1999, first as a technician and programme coordinator and later as the CineLink manager from its first edition. He is now on the festival’s Board of Directors in charge of CineLink Industry Days. He was on the Board of Management of the Bosnian National Film Fund from 2011 and was its President from 2014 to 2016. He has served as the National Representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Eurimages since 2006 In his capacity as the Chairman of the Eurimages Cinema Support scheme he initiated and overseen the implementation of Southeast Europe wide cinema digitization programme in 2009/10. Marjanović has produced a number of award-winning documentaries, shorts and feature films and consults for several international film institutions. He holds an MSc from the Cass Business School in London, and teaches Film Business at the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo.
