Dana Budisavljević (Zagreb, 1975) is graduated film editor from the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb, co-founder and co-director of Hulahop, Croatian producing company that produces and distributes its own line-up and organizes Animafest. Her first feature film The Diary of Diana B. was awarded Golden Arena at the Pula Film Festival making her the first female director to receive main festival award since 1957.
She made her directorial debut with the documentary STRAIGHT A’s (Factum, 2004), after which she went on to win wide acclaim with FAMILY MEALS (Hulahop, 2012), a documentary about coming out. She has produced the documentary series SLUMBERING CONCRETE, directed by Saša Ban, as well as films like I LIKE THAT SUPER MOST THE BEST by Eva Kraljević and THEN I SEE TANJA by Juraj Lerotić.
Damjan Kozole (1964) is a Slovenian filmmaker whose directing credits include the critically-acclaimed SPARE PARTS (2003), worldwide released SLOVENIAN GIRL (2009) and NIGHTLIFE (2016), winner of Best Director Award at the 51st Karlovy Vary IFF. Spare Parts was nominated for the Golden Bear at the 53th Berlin IFF 2003 and Sight & Sound ranked it in 2008 among Ten most important films of the New Europe. His last film HALF-SISTER (2019) was premiered at the competition programme of Karlovy Vary.
Kozole is also the respected author of many documentary films (Long vacation, Borders…)
Srdan Golubović (Belgrade, 1972) is a film director. His first feature film ABSOLUTE HUNDRED (2001) screened at festivals such as Toronto, San Sebastian, Pusan and Rotterdam, winning a great number of awards. His second film THE TRAP (2007) had its international premiere at the Berlinale Forum and was selected in Toronto and Karlovy Vary. It went on to win 22 international awards and made it to the final shortlist for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. His third film CIRCLES (2013) premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, winning the World Cinema Dramatic Special Jury Award, and screened at the Berlinale Forum, winning the award of the Ecumenical Jury. His newest film FATHER (2020) premiered at the Berlinale Panorama, winning both the Audience award and the Ecumenical Jury award. He teaches Film directing at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade.
Šejla Kamerić has received widespread acclaim for her poignant intimacy and social commentary.
She works with various media such as film, photography, objects or drawings. In 2011, Kamerić received The ECF Routes Princess Margriet Award for Cultural Diversity and in 2007, a DAAD-Berlin Artist Residency Fellowship. Her first short film WHAT DO I KNOW premiered in the Corto Cortissimo section of the Venice International Film Festival in 2007 and has been screened since in more than 40 international film festivals. The film was awarded with Best Short Film at the 5th Zagreb Film Festival in 2007 and Best Fiction Film at International Adana Film Festival in 2008. A collaborative film project 1395 DAYS WITHOUT RED, done with Anri Sala and Ari Benjamin Meyers and produced by ArtAngel premiered at the Manchester International Festival in 2011. In the same year the film has been screened at the 17th Sarajevo Film Festival; MACBA, Barcelona and MSU - Museum of Contemporary Art, Zagreb. In 2015, Kamerić collaborated with Thai film director Anocha Suwichakornpong on a short film THURSDAY which premiered at the 44th International Film Festival Rotterdam 2015. Šejla Kamerić's works have been included in numerous collection worldwide, such as TATE Modern, London; Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville, Paris; MACBA – Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art; Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, Rotterdam; Museum of Contemporary Art, Zagreb; Kontakt. The Art Collection of Erste Group and ERSTE Foundation, Vienna; Art Collection Telekom, Bonn; Vehbi Koç Foundation Contemporary Art Collection (2007+), Istanbul and others.
Amra Bakšić Čamo
Amra is one of the founders of SCCA/pro.ba, an independent production company from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She has produced and coproduced award-winning shorts, documentaries, TV programs and feature films. Since 2003 she is the Head of the CineLink, a regional co-production market, work in progress and project development workshop at the Sarajevo Film Festival. She is a member of the European Film Academy as well as ACE and EAVE producer networks. She has been a longtime collaborator of Berlinale Coproduction Market and Biennale College. Since 2019, Amra is one of the curators of Torino Film Lab. Amra teaches Producing at the Academy of Preforming Arts in Sarajevo.
