Chris Marcich

Chris Marcich was appointed CEO of the Croatian Audiovisual Center on 1 May 2019. As the head of the Centre, he represents and acts on behalf of the Centre, organises and runs the Centre’s activities together with its team of professionals. The primary mission of the Centre, in the broadest sense, is to support and promote the Croatian film and audiovisual sector. The Centre also runs a cash rebate program known as filming in Croatia. Chris was elected President of EFAD, the association of European Film Agency Directors in December 2023. He has been President of the Board of AGICOA since 2013 and was President for International at the Motion Picture Association’s European office from 1995 to 2016. Before that, Chris spent 16 years in the US Government on international trade issues as a negotiator. Chris holds a Master’s degree from Georgetown University.

Ada Solomon

Ada Solomon is a producer and founder of HiFilm Productions & microFILM. She has co-produced with numerous European countries & has released her films in over 50 territories. Her films have been presented and awarded in prestigious festivals such as Cannes, Berlin, Venice, and Sundance. She is Deputy Chairwoman of the Board of EFA, Vice-President of EWA Network & member of the ACE Producers Board. She received the Eurimages Award for Contribution to the Development of European Co-productions (European Film Awards 2013), Central European Initiative Award (Alpe Adria Trieste Film Festival 2018), the Underground Spirit of Europe Award (Palic IFF 2021) & APA Excellence Award (Jihlava IFF 2022). Hollywood Reporter named her one of the Top 40 Most influential women in the film industry in 2023.

Alex Traila

Alex Traila is Programme Manager for the Pilot Programme for Series Co-Productions at the Council of Europe, the Strasbourg-based human rights organization, and the home of Eurimages.

With over 15 years of experience in the film industry and governmental affairs, he holds a Ph.D. in Film and Media Policy Studies.

In this role, Alex is actively involved in the organization’s initiatives to enhance cultural and creative contributions within international independent series co-productions.
