KYRYLO MARIKUTSA

KYRYLO MARIKUTSA, co-founder and director of the Kyiv International Short Film Festival (KISFF), the larger short film festival in Ukraine, since 2012. Since 2015 Kyrylo’s also been working on a project, KyivMusicFilm — an independent distribution company that focuses on the theatrical distribution of documentaries and arthouse films. In addition, KyivMusicFilm also opened for Ukrainian audience screenings of opera, ballet, music concerts, and classic films. As a result, the annual audience is more than 120 000, and the number of films released yearly is more than 50. KyivMusicFilm also organizes a documentary film festival, INTRO, that covers music and culture-related films. Since 2021 Kyrylo’s developed TYTR, a Ukrainian curated film streaming platform for documentary and arthouse films.

MARYNA ER GORBACH

MARYNA ER GORBACH is Ukrainian film director. After studying in Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Kary Theater, Cinema & Television University (Ukraine), she graduated from Andrzej Wajda Master School of Film Directing (Poland). Since 2017, Maryna ER Gorbach has been a member of the European Film Academy . Her latest movie Klondike was awarded at Sundance IFF & Berlinale IFF.

NATALIA LIBET

NATALIA LIBET has gained experience in co-production, investment and finance while working for international companies primarily of the U.S. and German origin. Now, she works as a film producer. In 2019-2021, she brought First Cut Lab to Ukraine; her first Kyiv initiative was with EAVE in Demand in 2017. She has also joined Bratislava's Febiofest, London's The Calvert Journal Film Festival and Wiesbaden's goEast as a jury member. She has had annual audits with Big 4, obtained an MBA in the U.S. Natalia is responsible for the educational programs at Film Industry Association of Ukraine. She is a winner of 2000 Edmund Muskie/Freedom Support Act Graduate Fellowship Award, a member of Ukrainian Film Academy, an alumna of EURODOC and Ji.hlava IDFF’s Emerging Producers.

MAKSYM NAKONECHNYI

MAKSYM NAKONECHNYI holds a Bachelor’s degree in directing from Karpenko-Kary Kyiv National University of Theatre, Cinema and Television. After working on several TV projects, he teamed up with a group of creatives to form the independent production company Tabor with his friends, which now makes documentaries, fiction films, theatre plays, commercial and social videos, and cultural volunteering projects. Maksym has completed several fiction shorts as a director, and regularly produces documentary films. His most prominent titles include 2020 IDFA Best First Appearance THIS RAIN WILL NEVER STOP and 67 Berlinale Generation 14+ Gran-prix winner SCHOOL #3. Maksym’s directorial feature debut BUTTERFLY VISION was selected to Uncertain regard competition in Cannes 2022.

VOLODYMYR SHEIKO

VOLODYMYR SHEIKO is a specialist in culture management, marketing and communications. For 11 years he held senior positions in the Ukrainian mission of the British Council. Organizer of numerous cultural projects and events in the UK and 15 European countries: exhibitions, art residencies, film festivals, professional internships, concerts, literary programs, trainings, theater productions. A graduate of the Institute of International Relations of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. In 2009 received a professional diploma in marketing, and in 2014 – a diploma in digital marketing from the The Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK). In 2011 he graduated from the Summer School of Scottish Universities SUISS in the field of Contemporary British and Irish Literature (Edinburgh, Scotland). Member of the 2016 Summer School of Global Governance and member of the international network of Bucerius Summer School (ZEIT-Stiftung, Hamburg, Germany). Member of the IETM International Professional Performing Arts Network and the Total Theater Network.

TAMARA TATISHVILI

In her work strategy, TAMARA TATISHVILI combines a solid experience of international film funding and promotion strategies with a strong passion for talent curation and programming. She acted for several years as director of the Georgian National Film Center, instigating full reform of the institution that saw the emergence of a new wave of talented filmmakers. Prior to her appointment at GNFC, Tamara co-founded and was executive director of the Independent Filmmakers’ Association - South Caucasus. She managed three offices of the association, leading local teams and ensuring joint activities. She worked for the international training initiative School of Film Advancement and curated high-level conference CINEMA BACKSTAGE for Odessa International Film Festival. Since February 2020, Tamara heads MEDICI – The Film Funding Journey – annual exchange destination designed exclusively for public film financiers. She additionally consults festivals as a programmer and networks as a strategy manager.
