MIKE GOODRIDGE is an international executive producer whose company Good Chaos was established in 2017. In post-production are Helander’s SISU, Yang’s SOME RAIN MUST FALL, Sigurdsson’s NORTHERN COMFORT and Mortezai’s EUROPA. He has projects set to enter production in 2022 and 2023 with Shih-Ching Tsou, Sean Baker and Jessica Hausner. Mike is co-producer Ruben Ostlund’s TRIANGLE OF SADNESS and executive producer of Jasmila Zbanić’s QUO VADIS, AIDA?. He was previously CEO of Protagonist Pictures, financing and distributing acclaimed titles: COLD WAR, THE LOBSTER, THE FLORIDA PROJECT, THE RIDER, LADY MACBETH and GOD’S OWN COUNTRY. He is executive producer of AMERICAN HONEY, THE DISCOVERY and THE DINNER, among other films. He oversaw the production of over 70 films which received multiple Oscar and BAFTA nominations, and A list Film Festival prizes. In addition to his crucial roles in renowned festivals worldwide, he is also a member of BAFTA and the board of the European Film Academy. Moderated by Simon Perry.

SIMON PERRY

SIMON PERRY, working independently in the 80s, produced and co-produced ten feature films, most notably those of Michael Radford (ANOTHER TIME, ANOTHER PLACE, NINETEEN EIGHTY-FOUR). As head of British Screen, he funded 150 European films, including stellar work by Neil Jordan (THE CRYING GAME), Sally Potter (ORLANDO, THE TANGO LESSON), Mike Leigh (NAKED, TOPSY-TURVY), Ken Loach (LAND & FREEDOM) and Derek Jarman (EDWARD II) and early films by Michael Winterbottom (BUTTERFLY KISS), Milcho Manchevski (BEFORE THE RAIN), Gurinder Chadha (BEND IT LIKE BECKHAM) and Danis Tanović (NO MAN’S LAND). Later, as head of Irish Film Board, he promoted work by Irish directors John Carney (ONCE), Lenny Abrahamson (GARAGE) and Lance Daly (KISSES). Throughout 2015 and 2016 he was head of international production at Film i Väst, where he supported promising new talents such as Tomasz Wasilewski, Dome Karukoski and Juho Kuosmanen. Until 2018 he was president of ACE Producers where he acts today as senior consultant.
